Number 8 Contender Kurt Angle continued his fight to the top as he defeated #7 Contender, Hernandez, Thursday night on iMPACT! Angle and Hernandez engaged in one of the most physical back and forth contest ever witnessed on iMPACT! Both men delivered high impact maneuvers as if they were trying to destroy each other with every passing minute. In the end though, Hernandez succumbed to Angle’s dreaded ankle lock.
