In a WWF/E video rarity from 2001, Shawn Hernandez wrestled Haku. The video’s not posted on YouTube anymore (boo!) but I did manage to cap it before it was removed. Haku won the match after he gave Shawn the Tongan Death Grip

Breaking news: Co-commissioners Jeromy Sage and Ray The Voice argue in front of River City Wrestling owner Brandon Oliver, and once again… the front office power shocks the foundation of RCW! Ray once again stoops low and prevents Hernandez from coming to RCW on August 7, but Oliver responds back by making Joey Spector vs. Alissa Flash for the RCW Championship…. on August 7!!!

About a year ago, Hermie Sadler got the chance to interview Hernandez not too long after his return to the ring from his neck injury. And just in case I don’t get on tomorrow, and it’s highly likely that I won’t, I’m wishing all my fellow Americans a happy and safe Independence Day!
